I am recently single and have very little time to do the social scene. I am looking for a free or relatively low costing online dating site to meet people in my area. Any suggestions?

About how much should it cost? How should I go about starting this? Any tips? And finally do you have any helpful links? I have tried to google this question for information but all I get is advice on how to find the right online dating site for me. If you could answer any of these questions I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks!

I’ve recently become single (unfortunately) and I’m thinking of venturing into the world of online dating (a bit scary!). I’m looking for some friendly advice on sites people have used and hopefully had some success with.

Has anyone that 20-30 has success with an online dating site? Ive looked around but some sites look like there just filled with fake profiles of women to lure guys in.

I am very computer illerate so please give simple clear answers. Thanks, you could just be my “matchmaker!”

I’ve checked out on a few as much as you can without paying the site and the women often seemed WAY too good to be true in the way they looked and what they “said”.Does anyone police these sites to make sure they’re legit?

Oh, and I’m not looking for kinky. Actually would like to meet interesting men who are honest & sincere. Are there signs in their profile? Cuz I really got blind-sided and feel stupid.

It seems like so many of these very commercial sites cater to New Jersey, Pennsylvania and upstate New York. NYC seems to be lost on their radar. Any suggestions?
